CETI Constellations Entanglement
CETI Constellations: Entanglement is a creative exploration of the absurd and powerful idea of quantum entanglement—”spooky action at a distance” where particles mysteriously and instantly exchange information across the universe in fantastical ways. Through enigmatic creations and thought experiments, we investigate the unreasonable theory of entanglement and its strange implications (teleportation, extraterrestrial communication) through objects and installations that secretly communicate and influence each other in fantastic and marvelous ways.

Monthly Keaton Otis Vigil
Join our community partners, the Lloyd EcoDistrict, for the Keaton Otis Vigil each month on the 12th from 6 to 7 PM at the intersection of NE Halsey Street & NE 6th Avenue in Lloyd.
Keaton Otis was a young Black man killed by the Portland police on May 12, 2010 in Lloyd in 2010 at NE 6th and NE Halsey. The police admitted they stopped him for “looking like a gangster.” Keaton’s father Fred Bryant started the monthly vigil on the 12th of the month after his son’s murder on the spot where Keaton’s life was taken. Fred Bryant did this for over three years, fighting for justice for his son, every single month in the rain, the dark, the heat, and the snow. Fred Bryant passed away on October 29, 2013.
His family and community have committed to continuing the vigils every month on the 12th, until justice is achieved for Keaton, for Fred, and for our whole community.
Since 2019 Lloyd EcoDistrict has been working with the Black-led Justice for Keaton Otis collective to memorialize the life of Keaton Otis. Join community members at the corner of NE 6th and NE Halsey on the 12th of every month at 6:00 PM to remember Keaton and call for justice.

Rumble On The River: 25th Rumble
Rumble on the river: 25th rumble
Help Portland make the right changes in rules and regulations to deal with the dangerous and climate disrupting Critical Energy Infrastructure Hub. A recurring Rumble focus has been the CEI Hub and the potential hazards of having 90% of Oregon’s fuel and a dangerous mix of chemicals stored within Portland’s city limits on a riverside seismic liquefaction zone.
Use the northeast parking lot on NE Halsey by the old Marshalls store. Go in through the Lloyd Center entrance, steps away from the closed Marshalls entrance. The Rumble is inside, in a store to the right. Bikes are welcome inside the Rumble.
Supporting Broadway Businesses Walk
To celebrate STEPtember in Lloyd, join Go Lloyd on a walk through Broadway Street, stopping to highlight some of the local businesses as a part of an ongoing Lloyd initiative to shop local! We will start in Hassalo Plaza, and end with a complimentary lunch at Taste Tickler.
RSVP Here. If you need to cancel, please email lily@golloyd.org.
PARK(ing) Day
Park(ing) Day is a global project aimed at repurposing curbside parking spaces by converting them into social spaces, advocating for greener and more equitable streets for people. This year’s theme is Micro Acts of Civil Joy, celebrating small, joyful disruptions in the face of oversized authority.
Go Lloyd will be participating by occupying three curbside parking spaces in Hassalo Plaza, and turning it into a transit advocacy space, aiming to take polls of how individuals get around Lloyd, while informing them of ways to overcome transportation barriers within the city. Check out our spaces from 11 AM - 1 PM and contribute to an interactive art project curated by us. Stay and hang out with free lunch and coffee, and read through a variety of recent news articles to stay up to date on Portland’s transportation matters.
Transportation Options Walk
To celebrate STEPtember in Lloyd, join Go Lloyd on a walk around the neighborhood, where we will showcase some of the available transportation options in the neighborhood while discussing how to obtain passes and explore different ways to get around. Lunch from Xocalo will be provided.
