Explore the architecture, history and culture of the Pacific Northwest with architectural historian Eric Wheeler. These walking tours feature the history and architecture of Portland and a number of other communities in the PNW.

Eric’s tours are designed for new arrivals, visitors and area residents. The easy walking pace is designed to allow plenty of opportunity to see the sites, hear the guide and engage socially with other participants.

Eric Wheeler has over twenty years of experience as an architectural historian and heritage tourism consultant in Wisconsin. He has written numerous National Register nominations, taught graduate level classes in architectural history and designed and led walking tours of historic commercial and residential neighborhoods.

Eric discovered the Pacific Northwest several years ago and is now exploring and interpreting the captivating built environment of Portland and environs. Currently Eric designs and leads architectural walking tours in Astoria and Portland, Oregon.
