Small business owners are invited to connect with Metro and Multnomah County staff at an upcoming open house focused on building relationships and sharing information. This annual event offers businesses across the greater Portland area an opportunity to introduce themselves to project managers from both agencies, learn about current and upcoming contract opportunities, and better understand how to do business with government. Even those who have attended in the past will benefit from meeting new staff and learning about additional projects.

The open house takes place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is a free event, though registration is required. Attendees can expect to learn about certification as an Oregon State Certified Small Business and the types of work and contracts typically awarded by Metro and Multnomah County, with staff from a wide range of departments available to connect and answer questions.
