Join Lloyd EcoDistrict, local artists, and neighbors for the 2025 Lloyd Intersection Mural Repainting & Block Party as we repaint the vibrant street mural at NE 2nd & Clackamas, originally created in 2017.

🎉 Sunday, August 24 is our main community volunteer and celebration day, complete with:
🎨 Mural painting (all skill levels welcome!)
🎶 Music and live DJ
🍕 Free snacks and treats
👧 Family-friendly activities

Saturday, August 23 is a smaller prep day to lay down the white base coat—fewer volunteers are needed for that day.

We’ll offer optional 2-hour shifts, but folks are welcome to stay longer or drop in for a bit—no pressure! Sign-up links will go live in summer 2025.

All painting supplies provided. Just bring your enthusiasm (and clothes you don’t mind getting paint on)!

🎨 About the Mural

The Lloyd Intersection Mural was originally painted in 2017 with artists Jon Stommel & Travis Czekalski of Rather Severe and supported by City Repair, Color Outside the Lines, and dozens of community volunteers. It’s been refreshed in 2019 and 2022—and with your help, we’ll keep this swirling burst of color alive and evolving!
