Residents, workers, and visitors of North and Northeast Portland are invited to meet District 2 City Councilors Sameer Kanal, Elana Pirtle-Guiney, and Dan Ryan at a special community event presented by City Club of Portland’s Program Committee.

With a full year of experience in office and a year working under Portland’s new form of government, the Councilors will reflect on recent challenges and achievements and share their perspectives on opportunities ahead. The evening will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Willamette Week City Hall and neighborhoods reporter Sophie Peel, featuring questions submitted by the community during registration.

Following the panel, attendees will have the chance to continue the conversation in a more informal setting with the Councilors, neighbors, and fellow community members from District 2. The event takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. This is a free event with an optional suggested donation, and registration is required. Attendees are asked to register individually to receive event updates and help maintain an accurate headcount.
