Welcome to the Multnomah Streetscape Open House!

Please review the TWO design concepts for a typical street section and the THREE design concepts for an intersection with turn lane below. After each concept you'll have the opportunity to share your thoughts, please be sure to hit the submit button after each question. When reviewing the designs, please remember the project's goals. 

The Multnomah Streetscape Project Goals:

1.     Improve pedestrian, bicycle, and transit quality and comfort.
2.    Enhance the bikeway.
3.    Improve safety for all users.
4.    Improve on-street parking configuration and experience.
5.    Support placemaking, aesthetics, and landscaping elements.

As you read through the design options, please keep in mind that the street sections can work with any of the intersection options.  Also note that these proposals keep the same basic lane configuration that exists today, but have much wider bike lanes. In other words, there will continue to be 2 travel lanes, 2 bike lanes, and 1 car parking lane. There are also landscaping opportunities in the Cycle Track with Raised Buffer option which are not shown. The drawings are conceptual and do not include all of the details. For example, we do not show driveway interactions or bollard art  or landscaping options.
