Oregon’s Get There Challenge is on Oct. 1 - 15

Running two weeks from October 1-15, Oregon’s Get There Challenge is a timely reason to drive less by using transportation options and working remotely for the chance to win prizes and get recognized.

For the first time ever, the Get There Challenge will be team-based. Join an already existing community or worksite team or create one with up to 10 of your friends, neighbors, and/or coworkers. (Check out details here on how to create a team, plus access team captain resources.)

Teams will compete to be a top team and win prizes by logging trips taken by bike, foot, carpool, vanpool, and transit, and remote work days. Plus, win bonus prizes by unlocking early bird achievements!

Follow the steps below to participate in the Get There Challenge (and check out this video about joining an already set-up team):

1. Create an account for free in Get There Connect or log in here.

2. Join a team or create one (and become a team captain!)

3. Log your trips and/or remote work in Get There Connect to win prizes!
   
   You can get a head start and win early bird prizes through September 30 at GetThereOregon.org/Achievements.

You could win:

• $100 River City Bicycles gift card

Join the Get There Challenge October 3 - 16

Now in its 10th year, the Get There Challenge is an annual two-week event to help Oregonians drive alone less and use transportation options more. Participants can unlock fun and knowledge-building achievements for points toward weekly and grand prize drawings. Anyone age 18 and older who lives or works in Oregon can join!

Carpool, vanpool, ride transit, bike, walk, or telework to make your ride greener, cheaper—and friendlier!

When the Get There Challenge begins October 3, visit the Challenge page and unlock achievements to earn points for the chance to win prizes, like the following:

• Two $500 Visa Cash Cards

Join the Get There Challenge October 7 - 21!

Get There is the new, easy-to-use, web-based carpooling tool from Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). Get There (previously Drive Less Connect) helps Oregonians plan trips, share rides on single trips or on a regular basis, and more.

Log in or create an account to find other people who need to take a similar route. Share the cost of transportation, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by eliminating the need to drive alone. In addition to carpool matching, Get There also provides transit, biking and walking directions, as well as vanpool options.

Automatically track your commutes by connecting your account to the Commute Tracker app.

From October 7 - 21, Get There will host the annual Get There Challenge (formerly the Oregon Drive Less Challenge).

Win prizes and recognition for making any of your trips—whether it’s your daily commute or a simple errand—without driving alone.

It's easy:
