STEPtember Events

We're bringing you a month of walking activities to celebrate STEPtember!

Go Lloyd is hosting five guided walking tours this month, with special guests Willie Levenson from Human Access Project and architectural historian Eric Wheeler from Positively Portland Walking Tours. Check out our website calendar or Facebook to learn more.

Ready to clean up the neighborhood? Go Lloyd has two trash mobs planned for STEPtember! On September 7th , we're partnering with the PSOB Sustainability Committee, and Boxed Water is Better will sponsor the event. On September 20th we're running with Orangetheory Fitness for Lloyd's first ever Plogging Mob! Follow the links to sign up to volunteer.

Are you a safety champion? Join Go Lloyd and PBOT for a Vision Zero Safety Team on September 10th . These volunteer events educate people on how they can help achieve zero deaths on our roadways. Go Lloyd is also hosting a Pedestrian Safety Training on September 25th .

Email Paul to RSVP: paul@golloyd.org

Our Walk & Bike Breakfast is on September 14th , at the Hassalo on 8th Plaza from 7:30-9am. Coffee and bagels will be available for anyone who bikes or walks to work. On September 21st , we'll be setting up a temporary mini-park for Park(ing) Day. Stop by, enjoy a snack, and play a round on our putt-putt course!

We'll also host a brown bag clinic on September 28th . Bring your lunch and join us in the L700 Conference Room at 700 NE Multnomah St for a talk by Thomas, Coon, Newton & Frost on bicycle and pedestrian safety.

Interested in joining us on a ride, participating in an event, or learning more about biking in Lloyd? Join the Bike Committee ! Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 18th at noon.
