Explore Washington Park (formerly the Washington Park TMA) will be hiring a full-time seasonal Event Traffic Operations Manager from November 19 - January 3.
This person will be in charge of enacting the transportation management plan for Washington Park during ZooLights, as well as coordinating police, fire, traffic flaggers, and other essential staff during this event. He/she will also be in charge of activating overflow shuttle lots and ensuring all transportation aspects of Washington Park run safely during the ZooLights event.
The schedule is Wednesday - Sunday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with some overtime available at time and a half.
Explore Washington Park is looking for someone with strong leadership skills who can handle high stress situations, has exceptional problem solving skills, and can think on his or her feet. This person should be able to stand for prolonged periods and work outside in all conditions.
